Cait popped up next to Sam, avoiding idiot relatives and Mai, who seem kinda psycho crazy. Not that Cait herself wasn't, its just... not in that way.
So.... Where are we exactly?
She asked him, peeking over at his grin, and figuring it had to do with the whole 'his-winning-the-argument-with-mai' thing.
Mai glanced back at Sam and noticed Cait next to him, noticed the smile on his face. Except, unlike Cait, she really couldn't read people that well, and jealousy struck home, her eyes narrowing slightly as she frowned, shoved her hands in her pockets, and kept walking, faster now to get away from him and her. (as thought with utter disgust )

Sam glanced over at Cait with a slight 'hm?' and then grinned. "You've entered the world of Erinn!"
Then he launched himself into a short but detailed explaination of what Erinn held. Ryo of course sighed as his sister walked next to th elikeable, but dislikable elf. Then he spotted Mai and the frown she wore before her head turned forward again. 'Does she like him...?' he thought curiously.
He quickly gauged the distance between him and Mai and sighed. He really did not want to walk or run that far. He turned to his mouth and opened his mouth to speak, "I'll be up front."
Aiyana nodded and turned back to squeezing Howl's arm, then Ryo spread his white wings and jumped in the air. As he passed the elf and his sister he was tempted to whap both of them with his right wing but decided to just let his wing skim the top of Cait's head. He noticed Sam glance up and study him, but he just glared at the elf who let his grin tweak slightly as if he could smile bigger. Then he landed next to Mai and set his pace to hers.
He folded his wings up again, but kept them loose so they could cool off and then, bluntly I might add, asked, "Do you like him?"
Such a typical question for Ryo, especially if he was starting to develope a small crush.

Cait was used to Ryo whacking her with his wings, so the gentle brush over her head hardly caught her attention as she listened to Sam description, intent on learning. Not that it would be hard -- She had a photographic memory that went so far as to remember everything she heard, smelt, and so on, as well.
Mai's teeth clenched for a moment as he asked his question. She was very, very, VERY tempted to whack him upside the head.
Except he seemed so god d**n curious.
And she really didn't know what to say.
She was mentally kicking herself. She ALWAYS knew what to say, though it might not be very appropriate. Luckily, it didn't last long. Long enough he might be suspicious, but she didn't realize that.
Doesn't he wish.
She grumbled, still not looking at Ryo, of course.
