Yeah, that's right. They fade away. It's beginning to happen everywhere. Not to mention, it's not just earth. Think bigger. No, when I said bigger, I meant way bigger. Eidolon is a multi-world role playing game, in which you can create a character, a race, or even an entire world. But life isn't the only thing you can play here. No, there's also the afterlife. No, you don't cross the River Styx. No, you don't go to heaven or hell. Instead, you live in cities made out of nothing, and a place that truly is nothing. Some would call it a Rift In Time And Space. That would be the RITAS, to you. However, recently something has been set askew, both on the living worlds and in the Realm. Oh, the Realm is the place within the RITAS, if you got confused. These 'flaws' have been causing people to vanish into thin air. Not to mention, the dead that live in the Realm can die again. And this time, there's no coming back. They are eternally lost, they don't just come back alive, so to speak, after a few hours of spirit death. The question is, what's gone wrong and how can it be fixed? If you don't find the answer soon, everything will disappear. And that includes you.
